Every page comes out with a watermark: wording written across it. Tracing a letter needs its glyph, so a page comes out only when every font its text is set in is either sent with your request or already held by the service. The editor on this site and the examples on the API page are set that way. Use a watermarked document for your own work if it suits you: the watermark stays, and a paid plan is what takes it off. Creating an account costs nothing, and it opens the page of this site where you lay a page out and ask for the finished PDF.

Stripe, our payment provider, takes the payment on its own secure page.
Buy a licence outright and your download link appears the moment you have paid, and the site also sends it by email to up to three addresses you name. A monthly plan has nothing to download: what you pay for is the service your own program calls over the internet.

What counts as one document, and what happens past the number your plan includes
A document counts as one, however many pages come out of it. Where your plan includes a number of documents each month, every one you make is counted: as you come close to that number we write to you, and once you reach it the service stops there for the rest of the month. You pay your plan and nothing else, and your invoice carries your plan alone. The plan with no ceiling never stops, however many documents you make. Your month runs from the day you subscribed to the same day of the next month, not from the first of the calendar month.
A request that fails costs nothing: it is not counted against your plan and does not appear on your invoice.
What the tax adds, and who works it out
Each price is written twice. The first figure, marked excl. tax, is the price before tax. The second, marked incl. tax, is that price with the tax a company in France pays added to it, at 20%; a company registered for VAT claims that tax back, so the first figure is what it ends up paying. For a buyer outside France, no French tax is added when they give a European VAT number or stand outside the European Union, and the invoice says which of the two it is.
The payment page asks which of three cases you are in. In France, the French rate is added. A company elsewhere in the European Union pays no tax here when it gives its VAT number, and accounts for the tax at home. Otherwise the French rate applies. Outside the Union, nothing is added.
Paying by bank transfer
Would you rather pay by bank transfer? Ask us for the invoice and we send it the same day. A transfer is not capped the way a company card often is.

What happens after you pay
A figure alone does not say what follows it: what a subscription renews into, whether anything more is owed once you have paid, and what happens the day a new major version comes out. That is on a page of its own.
