A Font Whose Makers Forbid Carrying It
Say what a font whose own flag forbids carrying it does to the document: carried with a warning, described only, or refused.
Summary
A font file carries a note from the people who made it, saying whether it may travel inside a document. Most allow it; a few forbid it. When a request uses one of those, you choose what happens: the font goes in all the same and the answer tells you so, or only its description goes in and reading software draws with its own copy, or the document is refused and the answer names the font.
Technically
Written at the top level of a request, under
"font_permissions"
font_permissions reads the embedding flag a font states in its OS/2 table, fsType, and acts on a font whose flag says it is restricted, the one value that forbids carrying it. warn, the default, carries the font and names it among the remarks of the answer; leave_out carries its description alone, as a font named in fonts_described_only is; refuse refuses the document, naming the font. A font whose flag allows embedding is carried whichever value is set.

A Whole Request That Creates a PDF
One name below stands for a font file: put the encoded file in its place, or send the file itself beside the description, as a supplied part of the same call. One page carries a real font already encoded, and its request posts as it stands.
